From an early age, Rachel has had an overwhelming desire to produce a coloring book with large, easy to color drawings, for children with special needs, such as herself, so they too could begin learning to read the way she did.. with sight words.  Rachel was born with Down syndrome, however with her self motivation, encouragement and guidance of her family, some dedicated teachers... and God, she is striving to reach her potential. When she was nine months old she began "Early Intervention" classes, moving into "Special Education".  By the age of seven, she moved into her schools' mainstream, with exemplary success.  An avid reader and winner of several reading awards over the years, she has more than proven herself.  Rachel is planning on producing a full line of coloring books, with educational, yet, "fun to color" objects.  "Rudy Goes To The Zoo" is but the first in a series of "COLOR MY WORLD" coloring books.........
